SIFE Service Leadership Awards

The SIFE Service Leadership Awards are presented on an annual basis in recognition for time invested through participation in SIFE activities.  Qualifying SIFE USA students, within each of the three award levels, receive a printed certificate, a ribbon that they can display on the name badge at SIFE USA competitions and a great item to add to their resume. 

Criteria

To qualify for these awards, applicants must fulfill the following criteria during the academic year in which they are applying:

1. Be an active member of a SIFE team.
2. Register as an official SIFE USA student participant at www.sifeusa.org.
3. Complete a minimum number of hours of service through participation in SIFE activates:
   1. 100 hours of service for SIFE Service Leadership Award
   2. 500 hours of service for Platinum Service Leadership Award
   3. 1,000 hours of service for Diamond Service Leadership Award

Nomination

This is a self-nominated award.  Students who believe they have fulfilled the criteria may apply to receive this award through their online account.  Each applicant’s Sam Walton Fellow will be required to verify that they have met the award criteria.

Entry Deadline

All applications for Service Leadership Awards must be approved by Sam Walton Fellows by August 6, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. CST.

Graduation Medallions

A custom designed SIFE USA Graduate Medallion is available to purchase for your graduating students.  All medallions are 2 ½ inch pewter with a white neck ribbon and cost $10.95 each, plus shipping and handling.
